You on the left who think that it is only we on the right who are being censored and no-platformed, so that’s okay, will soon realise that eventually this intolerance will come for you too. You either believe in free speech or you do not – you cannot be selective about it. Today’s lefty learning that painful lesson is Joan McAlpine, an SNP member of the Scottish Parliament whose views on a range of issues put her well to the left of most Guardian readers. Natch she is also a keen believer in the bogus global warming religion so, on that basis, received an invitation to speak to a group called Teach The Future on how to save the planet.

If Mary needs to call an ambulance, gosh: I hope the medics on duty are not Tory Brexiteers

One of the great themes of 2020 has been the visceral intolerance of the left. To many of them, anyone marginally to the right of Kier Starmer is an alt-right, fascist, racist, homophobic, transphobic Little Englander freak who must be ostracised and no platformed. Those who tweet with the hashtag #FBPE who will tonight be frothing and seething in a particularly hateful manner, as some of us celebrate quietly on our own, are the most intolerant of the lot. I wish ill on no-one but I wonder what would happen if Mary, below, got really sick and had to call an ambulance only to find it was staffed by Tory voting Brexiteers.

Matt Hancock must ban Stairs across the UK now to protect the NHS as "fascists" quote NHS stats that don't fit the Ministry of Truth's approval

The data below record the number of deaths of folks under 60 since the start of the year who did not have any underlying health issues. As you can see, Covid claimed 377 such lives. But 655 people died from falling down stairs. This is simple: we must protect the NHS even if it causes the economy to crater. When will Matt Hancock ban stairs across this land, or make it a criminal offence to use stairs? Will the Old Bill have license to enter folks’ homes to impose fines of £10,000 if they suspect that people might be using stairs?  And if not, why the hell not?
